Hols are ending.

Haha. Its been a while

And Holidays are ending. I am sure it had been a quick holiday for everyone. For who doesn’t enjoy holidays?

And some slackers like me are probably rushing around their assignments/projects right now. Due dates are coming afterall. And I have started going back to school already. During hols. zz

Well, I cant really concentrate doing animation in school. It is downright sian to sit down there and draw again and again you see. So I ain’t making great progress either. regrettably.

it is funny sometimes stuffs like friendship can fall so easily and then others can become friends so easily as well. time heals. or does it break?

lol but my stand is I don’t give a fuck. if the other person dont care. why should I?

Singapore’s last kampong.

I didn’t know kampongs still existed in Singapore until I came across this article from tomorrow.sg. But it looks like what I thought is going to come true in the matter of 12 months, when the gov is going to take the land for development. And of course there is nothing the villagers can do.

Apparently their perceptions of HDB flats are that you never make friends with your neighbours. Though true to a certain extent but not entirely. That way, I can see that they truely dread having to live in HDBs.

Kampongs.. Inevitably, my mind would image a sandy environment, with little houses made of wood with zinc roofs. Chickens running around with kampong kids chasing them. Dogs would wander, and who knows whether they were strays or not. Kind neighbours would feed them anyhow, and pat them unafraid. All the boys would gather for soccer, and the girls for 5 stones. Instead of a group of friends, or a small population, they are like a big family.

Well, that was how it was like when I went to batam the other time.. I wonder if they’re playing frisbee now. We spread the frisbee plague to them.

Now thinking that the very last kampong is going to be gone. I feel the need to visit it at least once before it happens.

Typography

Hols are here yay! Maybe. lol. Looks like we weren’t spared from homework once again. like wtffffffffffff.

Fuck typo. lol Apparently someone from my course took that pic for typography. Interesting huh?

Typography is a really troublesome module, we need to trace fonts as class activity for the first half of the sem, then for our main assignment, we need to do 2 letters, (As you can see in the pic.) with just mat art paper and glue. I suppose we might need to do it next time for work… but still it is troublesome. Cause mine got rejected and I have to do it again this holiday. Sadded. It takes up lots of time indeed, yet uninteresting unlike maya, animation.. where I feel the satisfaction after doing them.

Holidays are coming and I can’t wait. Though there are assignment dues coming up at the very last week, my mind seems to have already switched to the holiday mood. which is bad. i guess.

And apparently, my holiday is going to be filled with homework as well. which is bad too. it is just 2 weeks, but I wanna get a job. Probably flexible so that I can work during school days too. I am seriously lacking some bucks you see. To take more photos! I have no choice but to earn more money! it has become a hobby I can’t live without. Just like lester and his RC cars? loll

And it has been such a long time since I designed my own header. Picked up a new program in school, adobe illustrator. Started playing with it and played with it and played with it for quite a long time and I really like this particular effect. I am one who tend to abuse one particular effect that I like. >.> So the npcc banner also looked a lot like that. haha

(But what the. I was shocked when I saw my header on my brother’s laptop. It looked totally different. Maybe because I calibrated my monitor and stuffs. Geez..)

Yes I am designing the coming npcc banner, which is almost done. On one hand can do something for the unit and on the other can build up my nothing-done portfolio. I seriously escaped loads of work by escaping from CI course. Which is the course Joel and Dzafir are at right now. They must be doing pumpings right now. hohoho.

I went back to my old estate to take, but turned out bad. maybe cause of lighting. There is one I took up close to a butterfly but it didnt get processed. must be underexposed.

That’s the ghost shit the indian security guard warned us of. He assured us that the picture wont be able to be processed. Dumbass..

The whole story is that me and rui xiang was taking picture happily, then we found a good spot. Started taking pics. And this indian security guard came and stop us. Then lectured us that we were trespassing, when we are not. blah blah blah. They’re all the same aren’t they. heh. Quite worth it though. I like the colours for this stairs pic. It isn’t green originally anyway.

Ghostly area.

farewell.

It is the norm for squads to perform on stage for our npcc farewell nights. But 2 days ago, it was the first time we had CIs and *one* extra ex-cadet(me >.>) to perform on stage for it. So good right us.. A four-man silly dance. haha As expected of us.

On stage. They say I had a stupid face when performing. so insulting. lol. Maybe I have a stupid face all the time.

Now thats the stupid face.. This one is the MASSIVE retarded jump. The four of us started it and the rest continued to join in behind us. We stomped the hall man.

It was great to talk of old times at the parade square. Countless memorable events that made npcc fun and worthwhile.

Well. I stayed over at canberra for both friday and saturday, going back in the morning. Had a serious lack of sleep on sunday. Slept for fucking long and neglected my assignments. >.> handed up a sucky one today.

Ups to the sec 4s. From here on, hell starts. hahahaha.
