Britain’s got Talent.
June 26, 2007
Just realised actually not many have watched the vids for britain’s got talent. So some of the best ones here..
The winner of Britain’s got Talent, Paul Potts’ audition. I think he made a real big impact. Cause he looked really inconfident.
Bessie Cursons and her semi final performance. Cute yet charming little girl. lol. One of my favourites in the competition. She is performing something from Mary Poppins. Titled, supercalifragilisticajenhoicuabexpialidocious. lol don’t know how to spell. And how the hell she didn’t bite her tongue??????? Still remains a mystery..
Now of course not leaving out the 6-year-old natural singer. Connie Talbot. With the angel’s voice. And she has amazing confidence for a 6 year old too. I think I have posted the link for her audition before, this one is the semi.
lol. She even said before the finals that she would make Amanda cry again. And she did.
Life changes as you grow up.

Do you become happier or do you not?
This question probably often pops out into your mind during the course of your life. You may have been tortured when you were really young and you grow up and found yourself happier. You may have a free and easy childhood, but you grow up unable to take the stress and tumble. Whichever way, it never stays stagnant.
For me, I guess I had quite a bad childhood. As it involves lots of canings and punishments like kneeling in front of the altar (all the buddhism stuffs) for the whole night. I was forced to read aloud the whole textbook for english and chinese before an exam cause I had always done badly. Anyway that was primary school.
But still, I was able to play along everyday, say what ever that came into my mind and do what ever I liked most of the time. Unlike it when it is now.
As I grow older, the responsibility is there. I can’t say anything that comes into my mind cause I have the responsibility to watch my words. I got the responsibility to study or do work by myself. I got the responsibility to avoid games and fun no matter how tempting they are.(but still I play them, which is the funny part) And thus, I am forced to wear a mask called hypocrisy, to fulfil these responsibility.
If you would ask me to weight the happiness. Despite the canings, life younger would have been easier and more lively.
It ends tonight.

Man man. The previous post is pretty heated as it is now. Ok I must admit I had contributed to it, cause my point wasn’t carried across the first few times. I guess this kind of topic that produces extremists that stands on both ends always creates conflict. But good, it sparks thinkin thinkin.(if you do read other’s stand). But the sad thing is that everyone off-tracked. Came in, and comment about ‘HOMOS ARE RIGHT’ and ‘HOMOS ARE WRONG’. And I reply accordingly. Not focusing on the problem of the next few generations. ok, something to improve on.
But something that is more worrying right now is that holidays are ending, tonight!(it is past 12am) Shit. Homeworks undone. Crap. Stuffs in my house to pack, which means no time to do homework. DIE.
Well well. I think I can do it. Yes I can.
Do something REAL. man, really a little inspired by that video. And that means another ‘Thinkin’” post. Which I am hesitating to type.
Gay is OK Says PM and many people. Not me.

Imagine like 30 years down the road. You are married. Live humbly in some f***ing expensive HDB flat. It’s normal to have expensive f***ing expensive HDB flats anyway. 30 years later that is. You have one child. Such a Blessing. God has given you the sweetest child ever. It’s normal to have only one child anyway, that’s the f***ing trend. 30 years later that is.
“Our sweetheart is bringing Alan over tomorrow.” said your honey. You, of course, smiled with delight, he’s your future son-in-law! Both of you, carrying the happy thought, went to bed. Sweet dreams..
The very next morning. Birds chirping. The gentle sunlight shone into the house as you prepared the feast. A little knock on the door, your honey went to open it.
There they are the two lovebirds, Tom and Alan, holding hands, smiling their widest smile. Alan was wearing a tight-fitting t-shirt, which allowed him to show off his muscles. Tom blushed. As they waved their hairy hands at you. You noticed that they were shaking their hairy legs too. Both of them also left a few strands of goatee as a symbol of love for each other.
Yes! Your son has really found his love one. One who would protect his fragile body from all danger. One who would give him comfort when he is feeling down. One who would love him forever. One who would poke your son’s backside when he wants it so muchhh. You and your honey feels so f***ing happy at the sight.
Yes! I will be the first one to congratulate you if that happens to you guys. =D
If you are saying that you can accept (not saying that it will happen) the ABOVE as your future, then I shall have nothing more to say to you guys. Cause you people are the most open-minded people ever. Also with a tint of kindness.. Also very cool and in and gracious. Unlike me.
But if you can’t, then think twice before you say that it’s all right. I don’t care about them. I don’t mind them. I can totally accept them. I respect them, they are humans too. They ROCK! They’re sexy. They are normal. Or god create I quote “Adam and Steve” or “Eve and Mary”. lol whatever.
Cause what you say now – which is something like a half-OK to it. Saying, ‘I don’t mind them, as long as they don’t disturb me.’ will become ‘they are perfectly fine’. Then it will become ‘they are cool’. Then it will become ‘they are normal’. And who knows, how things might turn out next time. 5 out of 10 people = homosexual? And I really mean who knows.
And what you say now, will affect the later generation. It will affect the society. And it will come back to you. Which isn’t a funny thing at all.
And I think that, there will only be more and more abnormal people appearing.. More and more.
The unknown of the future is scary.
–Man, I think I make a really good dad. lol, jus kidding.
Edit: But still it is up to one to choose whether they can accept them to a certain extent and etc etc.

Frisbee Marathon.
June 17, 2007
Today’s frisbee training with Dratss at Bishan park was alright. IF THERE WEREN’T SO MUCH CLAYMUD. OMFG.
All right, I didn’t call down the E4 peeps because I wanted to test it out first. And I am glad I did that man. The mud was was was horrible. And it was some rather intense training and drills, which isn’t all that fun compared to playing leisurely on the parade square everyday after school.
I am glad I ain’t that shagged(eventhough i didn’t play all that well), but it’s thanks to even harsher trainings I received from NYPultimate. lol. I hadn’t fully recovered from my previous training and I went for the dratss one, and the next day is monday, which means NYPultimate training again! woo. And heard from nadira she’s calling out for a E4 frisbee on tues. That means it’s a frisbee marathon!
Anyway, I noticed. Playing 3 days straight of frisbee ain’t anything big. And there ain’t no marathon. Okay, bye bye.. Time to get a good rest and await tml’s training.
OMG NO. My ASSIGNMENTS. Okay, off to do my assignment.
Miss Singapore Galaxy.

This guy has got a very interesting blog. And that’s a real funny comic illustration.
Super violent gangster fight?
Windstruck.
June 14, 2007
I’ve been going out more than usual lately, and of course at the same time cash goes out of my pocket more than usual and I am broke. And yet the pile of homework remains intact. And also for many reasons, I wasn’t really in the mood for anything. Not for going out to eat. Not for doing homework. Not even for gaming. It sucked.
Then I was told that my uncle who works overseas and came back recently is flying back today. I didn’t really had to go send him off. But since I had no mood fer nuttin’. I might as well go and send him a bon voyage. Some ideas for my holiday works might just pop out and I can get started. I thought I was pretty late, but it turned out I reached there faster than my uncle! lol
And what’s next was that we even had enough time to go for swensens. O-kay. So being early wasn’t that bad. Sticky-chewy-chocolate. My super standard swensen choice. lol. Everytime I go swensens, I will definitely get sticky-chewy. It’s just the best. After bidding good bye with my uncle. I decided to hang out with my brother and went to his friend’s house.
Watched a couple of movies. Windstruck- the super funny and touching and sad korean movie. And just when you think I am pretty late in watching windstruck, we also watched Mr Vampire III. Which seems to be made for the previous generation. lol pretty funny..
And the day ended with us playing cards. Asshole dai dee. lol. Very interesting game. Which is almost like dai dee. And headed home.
As you might notice. Not a single idea popped out. I actually thought of using changi as of my assignment but the timing wasn’t favorable. Okay, guess there’s no such easy way out. I better start staying home and think and do. Or I am seriously dead. Either by not finishing my assignments or bankruptcy.
somewhere over the rainbow.

Something to leech off mrbrown.
LINK- Britain’s got talent 6 year old girl
It’s amazing how some young souls can sing so well.. While other thick-skinned adults make futile efforts to join singapore idol whatever whatnots.
Well, today had a pretty nice frisbee session. You know. Aching here and there right now lol. SHIOK. And I realised that there is actually a canberran style formation that professionals also use. Nyp call it ’sambal’.(god knows the spelling). In 4e4 terms, we call it triangle, the boys team always like to use. sambal = a 3-man passing, without a fixed way.
Ahh.. time to go sleep.. Anyway, I’ve been wondering whether my blogposts have become shorter and shorter..
Paddle for Earth.
June 13, 2007
=D
Anyway, I am so addicted to BeeGees music. Call me oldie whatever! It’s better than punk rock!
(Edit- cause I thought it lacked some of my own views, leading to only a comment that calls me an oldie lol)
This Paddle for Earth thing is just so cool. The people who are going to paddle all the way from sentosa to the equator and then back are so damn cool too. And their purpose is to create more awareness about global warming.
“
Paddling looks graceful, elegant and sometimes effortless when it is done well. Don’t be fooled. Paddlers haven’t been called the world’s most physically fit athletes for nothing. The sport demands endurance, strength, balance, mental discipline, and an ability to continue on when your body is demanding that you stop. Paddle 100 miles in a canoe and you are already a child of nature.
“
Woot, I didn’t know that.
