I stumbled upon this article while I was damn bored and slacking away from my assignments(bah!). If you have read it, you realise how powerful their sense of teamwork and selflessness is. I mean what-the-hell, they use their own bodies to fill up holes?

They can actually do without that stunt. The other ants can actually move around that hole or something, but to prevent inefficiency they just did that. We aren’t talking about stupidity here are we? I don’t think they are stupid, they just look at the larger picture, something people always can’t do. Inevitably, people just me me me and me and I and me and myself. Instead of the larger picture, they think only of themselves (at least first). Even trying to help others **might** be for their own personal gain.

If we just look at it this way, how could humans compare to them? Sometimes I just think that big brains made us more idiotic. We think about so many things yet, most are just for ourselves. And we are completely defeated by a simple action of an ant aren’t we?

Games Day.

Woah. Heard the good news from kenny sir during my sketch group that Canberra Npcc has won the games day once again. Looks like the games day poster I had to design wasn’t wasted.

This reminded me when I asked my brother last time, “how come we are training so hard for a telematch competition?” Cause I thought we could easily beat them. But my brother said, “no. You know why kenny sir make sure we must win this every year?” He proceeded to explain that it is the most important competition of all. Cause once you win it, other units naturally looks up to you. But the most important part is to motivate the unit by letting them know that they are the best. Coming to think about it, it is really true.

After some problems during the past two years that we didn’t win, unjustified. Canberra finally won again. I really think this is a timely relight of the unit’s passion. Though I am long away from it. Gold award isn’t far.

What should I do?

The second wave of homeworks came. This time, they are of higher difficulty and also quantity.

Anyway, enough of bitching.

I learnt quite a lot during the second session of sketch group. I realised that still life drawing isn’t that difficult, cause it is like E.maths. Once you grab hold of your basics, stuffs can be easily rendered with a pencil. But of course, my basics are not there yet. haha.

Yesterday, the frisbee guys organised an outing to sentosa. I skipped it. Blah, not sentosa again?! Well, skipped frisbee training on wed due to sketch grp, missed the sat outing, I sure seem to have the habit of skipping frisbee stuffs. O well, tomorrow training, gonna meet them.

side tracking even more. My home finally got sold. Of course due to the current market, it was sold at a lower price. Obviously we hadn’t much choice. So soon, I will have to pack LOTS AND LOTS of stuffs. And SQUEEZEE them into the next home.

I am already looking forward for the holidays to come. How sad. Nothing seems to be going on well in my life.

It’s a very very simple but fun game. I kind of got addicted to it. My highest score was like 110.. lol. But of course I don’t play it like for an hour. Just like 5 min of it is a good break from my boring art homeworks.

Haha. I kept chanting, “DMD sucks” to gerald-san on monday after frisbee. He was like “what-the, you’re in it too”. All the more I had the rights to say it sucks isn’t it? (dont worry, I wasn’t serious)

Then when frisbee-mates asked him about his course, I’d reply for him, “DMD, the suckiest course ever.” And when they asked me, I’d say “the best course ever, DMD.”

ok LAME! I suspect myself getting the BHB syndrome.. Very dangerous..

Sleepless.

LOL. I just finished my work. LOL. Yes, it is 7.30AM right now. LOL.

Getting a bit cranky right now cause I haven’t had a drop of sleep since yesterday. Got scolded by my parents a few times throughout the night for not sleeping.. Started to get a little impatient each time. But at least they are done. Actually not, I am going to make use of the break time later to finish up my drawing.

Supposed to draw a sketch of an orchid flower. Lazy and penniless to get one. So I took a pic of it to bring home to draw. heh, cheapo me.

Also got an external HD yesterday, 120gb for 140 bucks. Come on jonny, gimme all ya animessss.

More Time Please.

The past two frisbee trainings were WOW. Physically draining. Body aching. Omg.

After monday’s training (anyway it ended like 940pm), I reached home shagged and tried to do my homework but failed terribly. lol. Went to take a nap, but overnapped! I woke up in shock in the morning to finish up the work.

I put so much effort into it and it still got rejected………….. Took shots of it cause I thought it looked beautiful. Whatsmore, I need to cut it up to re-do. Anyway, only the strip of tints and shades scale is the final work, the paper with holes isn’t.

On wed, I went to the sketch group CCA for the very first time. Damn paiseh, cause everyone just seem to draw better than me. It’s good in another way, so I can learn from them. Left early to go for frisbee training. Body still aching from the monday training, this one obviously didn’t make it better. Jonathan, who became a wuss hardworking boy after monday’s training, skipped wed’s. And he did his nursing BIO notes at home. Learnt a lot from training, though I always feel incapable when playing with seniors.

I wonder whether taking two CCAs is a mistake or not. Even as of now, I am rushing homeworks. But I think I can cope somehow. Cause I know I am slacking too much once again. I should buck up instead of complaining how much homework/rejected homework there is. One of them helps me relax my mind, the other helps in my academic, hopefully I won’t have to quit any CCA.
